NEWS: 12,800 Latino Children Incarcerated - Highest Number Ever - While $200 Million is Moved to ICE

The New York Times has reported that 12,800 Central America youth are detained this month alone. Reaching epic numbers that are nearly overwhelming the system, profit-making detention centers stand to benefit from the incarceration of innocent asylum-seeking children.

Children and families' basic human rights are violated beyond comprehension as this presidency continues to be an embarrassment to the entire human population on earth as their failed policies have strategically and intentionally presented shock and awe with merciless family separations intended to incite fear as a deterrent for migrants seeking to escape harm in the U.S.

Meanwhile, DHS has quietly maneuvered $200 million in funding from other social service and protection programs into the hands of ICE to further the irrational xenophobic programs of family separations and detentions. Oregon Senator Jeff Merkley describes the barbaric actions, "The Money is being directed towards a program that comes from a very dark place in the heart of this administration, which is ripping thousands of children out of the arms of their parents and then locking their parents up." It's simply untenable that we the people of a supposed free nation are watching as our government is destroying the very fabric of what we stand for "...with liberty and justice for all."

Children In Internment Camps A Japanese American's Reflection ~ Smithsonian

Eerily similar to the American past, we are living yet another embarrassing day in American History as tragedy is repeated with striking similarities to Japenese internment camps.

One Day In Auschwitz 2015 - USC Shoah Foundation

All though there is little to compare to the horrors of Auschwitz in the Nazi Holocaust, and while the modern-day genocide that is systematically underway by the Trump Administration's unprecedented efforts to white-wash America can't begin to compare to the murder and bloodshed of the time, the ideologies of hate are 100% the same.

The strategies and the execution of barbaric family separations and detentions, all the while combined with very methodically executed changes of immigration regulations (the decapitation of the powers of immigration judges and the swift moves to forcefully remove immigrants without due process), is NOT without intention. In fact, this is precisely what the administration and their conservative GOP supporters have set out to accomplish.

Bigger than any school-yard bully, this administration is strategically unleashing mass hysteria, emotional terrorism, the creation of fear, and the criminalization of innocent people within the court-of-public-opinion, as part of a carefully orchestrated effort to turn the hearts and minds of the American people against millions of beautiful people who have helped build our nation for decades and many of which are simply seeking to escape harm in their native countries.

The criminalization of the countless innocent people seeking to escape harm in Central America is the exact opposite of what our nation has previously stood for and that which is inscribed in our Statue of Liberty. The symbol of freedom posits, "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses, yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore." The Trump Administration presents more like Hitler and less like an administration that is "of the people and for the people." The administration is destroying America while inrreparably harming millions. Meanwhile, American citizens grow weary and complacent.

Author Dr. Wayne Dyer - On "Group Think" in - I Can See Clearly Now

A favorite Spiritual writer, Dr. Wayne Dyer wrote about a "malignancy" that "ran rampant" among the society in the times of the Holocaust as Jews, like Latinos of today, were demonized in the eyes of the public by a government that ultimately sought to clear the globe of these people. Since Trump took office, headline after headline would be compared to the times back then as everyday citizens go on about their lives almost in disbelieve that this could be happening.

In a shocking recollection of his experiences in Nazi Germany, Dr. Wayne Dyer sought to understand how a society could have allowed such tragedies in such epic proportions.

I, as the U.S. citizen spouse married to a Central American immigrant who is a target of this administration's barbaric deportation force, was speechless as I read such striking similarities to what we are experiencing today. Dr. Dyer wrote, " I have heard of the horror stories of the Holocaust and seen films of the death camps, and I always found it incomprehensible that such evil could have ever taken place, particularly during my own lifetime." He continues, "I struggle with how this country of civilized people allowed such a malignancy to run rampant among them. What were they thinking? Why weren't they able to end this madness before it reached such epic proportions?" Sound familiar?

Referring to his visit to Auschwitz, Dyer asserts, "I'm in this setting and compelled to visit other horrendous places where atrocities were performed with the willing aid of the entire population who had been brainwashed by a compelling speaker who spewed evil and hatred and convinced a vast collection of people that it was their duty to behave in this malevolent ways, even though it violated their own original nature. They voluntarily let themselves violate their own inner sense of love toward their fellow humans." Dyer continues, "How could this possibly have happened? It is unimaginable that this took place in my lifetime. I am shaken. I feel a calling to speak out--to write in a way that such a thing could never ever again come to pass."

Are we not in similar circumstances today? Is it not that this administration is using every possible ounce of might to spread fear, hate, anger, and angst against the innocent people of Central America. Is it not that tensions against brown-skinned people are mounting? Are we moving into exceedingly dark territory as America grapples with the nation's stance on immigrants? Do we not have friend against friend and family becoming foe, as we the political lines and ideologies on immigration continue to divide us? We are entering into some of the most profoundly dangerous times in the recent modern history of America.

While the emotional-terrorism is already well underway throughout every community, in every Hispanic livingroom, and in nearly every place of work, school, or play, we must look within to find our own moral compass and then govern ourselves accordingly. We must not allow the heartless persuasion of the wealthy 1% leadership of this nation to get inside our heads to demonize one from the other. We must fight the lies, hate, bigotry, and bullying with love, honesty, caring, and kindness as we work to welcome all people with equality, treat them with dignity, and open our hearts and minds to the other.

In the meantime, let us vote the administration out of office and restore peace across the globe. And in doing so, let's reform American immigration in such a way that protects our country's borders while also opening doors to opportunity for all who seek to escape persecution and harm in other lands, and that which takes care of American citizen immigrant spouses and their children. Let's make a way for employers to forge an easier path to share talent from across the globe and invite some of the brightest minds to eat, live, work, and play alongside our own - our culture will be enriched immeasurably if we get it right. Let us realign immigration away from the single-handed controls of the Attorney General of the time and under the judicial branch of government where bi-partisan oversight can be administered. And while we're at it - could we please LOCK HIM UP (Donald J. Trump and Jeff Sessions both), for crimes against humanity.
