NEWS: Attorney General Jeff Sessions Continues to Single Handedly Control the Right to Due Process

Attorney General Jeff Sessions continues to single-handedly control immigrants rights to due process and immigration judges capacity for judicial discretion! While immigration courts' hands are tied, this administration continues its push to deport as many immigrants as possible before they have a chance to complete legitimate legalization procedures. Our case as one example, Trump, Sessions, ICE, and others would have my husband deported before we earn the green card, despite the fact we have an immigration approved marriage and very clearly - the deportation of Enrique would cause irreparable harm and hardship to a U.S. citizen spouse.

We must reform U.S. Immigration - with an emphasis on the removal of single-handed oversite of policy and courts by the DOJ and AG. We must see to it that immigration judges are empowered to do their job and are not unduly influenced by the xenophobic policies of this administration but rather, are independent with oversight by the judicial branch of government. One man - Jeff Sessions is unilaterally making policy that is affecting millions of lives in America. This must not be allowed. That is too much power and control without fair representation of the people.
