Immigration Attorney Angela Adams Presents @ "What About Us? Peaceful Resistance Rally for Immigration Reform
Immigration attorney Angela Adams lights up the stage during our "What About Us? Peaceful Resistance Rally for Immigration Reform." Attorney Adams raises the call for "human dignity that surpasses geographic, ethnic, or cultural boundaries." Well stated Adams, also a Board Member of the Immigrant Welcome Center, calls to our greater wisdom, "All residents of Indianapolis have the rights and responsibility to contribute to and enjoy the vitality and growth of their city and community." She calls for compassion and value of ethnic diversity to "intentionally improve Indianapolis economically, socially, and culturally."
Angela, like all presenters, attended the rally as advocates for human-centered immigration reform that starts in the homes of neighbors who invite open conversations about really tough humanitarian issues around their kitchen table. Mrs. Adams, like the other presenters of the day believe, "When neighbors talk to each other. When you meet someone and sit down with them at your kitchen table - things resonate a little bit differently. Get to know someone for the person that they are and their heart. And, you fall in love with them and they fall in love with you, and the issue becomes about people and not politics."
There are no words to convey our deepest gratitude to all our presenters and entertainers who joined us for the day. Angela, Enrique and I love and appreciate you for all you do in the community and wish to thank you on behalf of all the voiceless immigrants in need of our support.
